Apple iOS 18.1 Seventh Beta Update Released for Developers: All Details
Apple has released the seventh beta update for iOS 18.1, ahead of the upcoming stable update for the iPhone operating system. iOS 18.1 Developer Beta 7 rolling out
With bug fixes and performance improvements, the beta versions of the iOS 18.1 update are getting more stable as the public rollout draws near. The first set of Apple Intelligence features for the new iPhone 16 series and iPhone 15 Pro models will be available with the iOS 18.1 update. It will come with Writing Tools that can be used for grammar correction, spell checking, rewriting with a fresh tone, and text summarization.
In addition to having a Type to Siri feature that eliminates the need for speaking to Siri, Siri has a new design with a soft glow surrounding the screen. Siri can keep context between requests and follow along if you fumble your words. There is a new Reduce Interruptions Focus Mode in Safari, and articles can be summarized.
Moreover, all iPhones running iOS 18 will also have access to notable updates, such as the option to modify the iCloud email address and a simplified procedure for changing the email linked to an Apple account.
iOS 18 update: How to install
On a compatible device, you can download the updates by selecting General > Software Update in the Settings app. Be aware that Apple Intelligence still requires an iPhone 16 or iPhone 15 Pro to function.
