iPhone SE 4 Launch Today: How to watch livestream
Apple is all set to host its launch event for purported iPhone SE 4 today at 10:00 AM PT, or 11:30 PM IST in India. The event will start with a keynote from Apple CEO Tim Cook followed by other top executives. Though it will take place at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, tech enthusiasts will also be able to watch livestream via Apple's official website, YouTube channel, Apple TV app, and social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter).
Expected specifications of the iPhone SE 4
Recent rumors have suggested that the iPhone SE 4 (or iPhone 16E) will have a 6.1-inch OLED screen, which is significantly bigger than the 2022 model's 4.7-inch LCD panel. Like the iPhone 14, it is also anticipated to have an all-screen design with a display notch.
With its glass and aluminum body, the next iPhone is anticipated to look a lot like the iPhone 14, but it will have one key distinction: a single rear camera with an improved 48-megapixel sensor. Additionally, it is anticipated that the phone will have a USB Type-C port rather than the outdated Lightning connector and an Action Button in place of Apple's mute switch.
While the iPhone 14 (including the current iPhone SE model) came with the A15 Bionic processor, the iPhone 16E or iPhone SE 4 is also anticipated to come with a more potent A18 chip. If so, it probably supports Apple Intelligence features that are available on other iPhone 16 series models. According to reports, the upcoming phone may also feature Apple's first in-house 5G modem.
