Apple is reportedly working on a large iPad that expands to the dimensions of two iPad Pros. As reported in Bloomberg's Power On newsletter this Sunday, the firm has been developing the foldable gadget for multiple years and aims to launch it in 2028. The biggest current iPad measures 13 inches, but to enhance gaming and watching shows and movies, the screen on the speculated model would expand wider and fold when not being used, simplifying portability.

Microsoft and Lenovo have tried comparable ideas previously with minimal success. Apple's strategy, however, aims for the larger-size option to appear as a single piece of glass instead of two screens next to each other.

Bloomberg reported that initial Apple prototypes display a "practically" invisible crease on the large iPad, though the company intends to eliminate it completely. However, Apple is yet to say anything about this.
