Grok's free version was quietly made available by Elon Musk's company, xAI. All users on X can now access the company's native artificial intelligence (AI) model, albeit with some restrictions. The desktop website and mobile app are the two ways to access Grok AI's interface. Users can utilize all of the chatbot's features, even though the free tier has a rate limit. Furthermore, Grok 2, xAI's most recent and powerful AI model, is now accessible on the free tier. Check out all details here

Grok AI is now free to use
Grok AI was only accessible to X (formerly Twitter) subscribers who paid for the Premium and Premium+ tiers, which cost Rs. 566 and Rs. 1,133 per month, respectively, when it was first introduced in November 2023. The chatbot is now available to all users, though. Interestingly, xAI made no formal announcement about Grok's free tier.

Employees of Gadgets 360 were able to identify the Grok AI on X option. The choice can be found on the social media platform's website and in its iOS and Android mobile applications. Interestingly, the only AI model that is free to use is Grok 2.

Additionally, the Flux image generator, created by Black Forest Labs, will be available to users.

At the moment, free users can only create three images per day and are restricted to ten questions every two hours. Additionally, users can experiment with the "Fun Mode," which brings out the humorous side of the chatbot by generating sarcastic and humorous responses. Because Grok AI has access to the Internet, users can ask questions about current events, including live sporting events. Grok shows all of the URLs and web pages that were used to prepare the response when you use Web search.
