Fiverr, an online marketplace for independent freelancers, unveiled a new artificial intelligence (AI) platform called Fiverr Go. The newly debuted platform will let gig workers train an AI model that look like them using their data and get paid for the results. According to the company, the platform's goal is to empower freelancers by utilizing AI, rather than to replace them. In addition to creating AI models, freelancers will have access to the platform's Personal AI Assistant, which can communicate with prospective customers.

Fiverr Go AI Platform Launched
At a launch event, the company revealed the new AI platform. Fiverr Go will serve as an AI chatbot marketplace, with each model standing in for a human freelancer. Two tools will be available to users: Personal AI Assistant and Personal AI Model Creation.

To "ensure high-quality adoption and results," the company is currently only permitting its "top, vetted freelancers with proven track records" to develop AI models. Furthermore, at this time, Fiverr Go is limited to a few services, such as digital marketing, voiceover, songwriting, graphic design, illustration, and copywriting.

CEO and Founder of Fiverr Micha Kaufman has said, "We built Fiverr Go to ensure creators remain at the centre of the creative economy[..]Instead of letting creators be exploited, Fiverr Go ensures they receive proper credit and compensation while giving them unprecedented tools to scale their work." He added that the new platform will makerfreelancers irreplaceable, not obsolete.

To create an AI chatbot, eligible users can go to the Fiverr Go Hub. Based on the user's prior work on the platform, the internal AI system will recommend an AI model. Additionally, users can start from scratch and create a model. After the procedure starts, the AI will collect and classify comparable user work samples before being trained on the information. Additionally, freelancers can improve the output by including more details. Lastly, they have the option to choose the prices for the assets produced by AI.

A chatbot will be put on the marketplace after it has been developed. The AI will produce a watermarked output sample after buyers tap on a model that fits their needs and add a prompt explaining what they're looking for. The final version will be delivered in three days, giving the creator time to make any necessary edits, or the buyer can choose to pay for the output at this point. As an alternative, they can ask for a custom edit that outlines their needs.

The Personal AI Assistant, which is customized to users' preferences and selected settings and is trained on their previous conversations, will also be made available to freelancers. According to Fiverr, the chatbot can handle common questions, enhance communication with potential customers, and even offer useful business insights.

Notably, access to the Personal AI Creation Model will cost $25 (approximately Rs. 2,170) per month on this freelancer-only platform. The open platform Fiverr Go will be available to developers, though, as Fiverr also revealed.

Oppo held its big launch event for the Find N5 yesterday, and a second device was announced on stage – the Oppo Watch X2. If it looks familiar, that’s because the Watch X2 is nothing more than a rebadged OnePlus Watch 3, which launched earlier this week. The Oppo Watch X2 ships with WearOS 5 and has an IP68-rated build. It supports more than 100 sports modes. The watch has an optical heart rate sensor measures blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels.

The Oppo Watch X2 is available with an initial price tag of SGD 499 (roughly Rs 30,000 INR) in Singapore. It is listed for pre-orders in the country in Lava Black and Summit Blue colour options.

Oppo Watch X2: Specifications and Features

The newly launched Oppo Watch X2 has a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display coupled with 2200 nits of peak brightness and 310ppi pixel density. The device gets a 2D Sapphire crystal cover with titanium alloy bezels. The smartwatch is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor with BES2800BP MCU. It runs on Wear OS 5.0 and includes a proprietary Real-Time Operating System (RTOS). The watch carries 32GB of RAM.

The brand has added more than 100 sports modes. The watch also has dual-frequency GPS for location tracking. It can remotely control the smartphone camera. That’s not it; the device will also get access to Google Maps and Google Wallet and support for Google Fast Pair. The watch has a 648mAh battery that can go on for 120 hours once charged completely. The smartwatch can go on in the power saver mode for 16 days straight.

Oppo Watch X2 features an EKG electrode for monitoring arterial stiffness and ECG readings. It is claimed to identify issues such as sleep apnea and irregular breathing. It includes features like heart rate variability (HRV) to offer insights into stress levels. Further, the watch is equipped with a wrist temperature sensor. It has MIL-STD-810H durability and an IP68-rated build.

On Thursday, the Oppo Find N5, the newest book-style foldable smartphone from the Chinese original equipment manufacturer (OEM), has been released worldwide. Oppo Find N5 has been introduced with a sizable 8.12-inch 2K (2,480 x 2,248 pixel) LTPO AMOLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate of 120 Hz and a pixel density of 412 ppi. The inner screen can support a maximum brightness of 2,100 nits and has a touch response rate of up to 240 Hz. Additionally, the company also said that it has obtained the Minimized Crease Certification from TÜV Rheinland and an Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) display protection. The foldable smartphone, on the other hand, features a 6.62-inch 2K (2,616 x 1,140 pixel) AMOLED cover screen with a pixel density of 431 ppi and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It runs on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15.

The newest book-style handset from Oppo packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage. The chip is said to provide a 45 percent boost in AI performance thanks to its Hexagon NPU and second-generation 3nm architecture. It has an Adreno 830 GPU attached.

Apple Intelligence is available for iPhone 15 Pro and later, but there’s an exclusive feature for iPhone 16 models - Visual Intelligence. Some believed this was because the iPhone 15 Pro lacked Camera Control, but that all changed with the iPhone 16e – which supports Visual Intelligence. Now Apple has confirmed that the feature will soon be available to iPhone 15 Pro owners, too.
