HMD Crest Series Smartphones Launched in India: Price, Features and Availability

HMD -the makers of Nokia smartphones, have launched its first ever smartphones without Nokia branding in India. The company has introduced two new handsets namely HMD Crest and HMD Crest Max on July 25. The handsets have come with dual rear camera setup and a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. HMD Crest series — the first ever HMD branded smartphones from the company without Nokia branding — has made their debut in India on July 25. The launch event was live streamed via the company's YouTube handle and the handsets will be sold via Amazon. The series include HMD Crest and Crest Max smartphones come with 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display. The handsets are powered by Unisoc T760 5G 6nm SoC, which the company claims to secure over 5.1 Lakhs AnTuTu score. Here are all details.
The HMD Crest and Crest Max India will be available for sale via Amazon India website in Great Freedom Sale in August. The handsets will be available in Midnight Blue & Deep purple colour. During the sale, the phones will be available at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,999 as a part of special introductory offer. Both the HMD mobiles will be available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB+256GB RAM and storage configuration.
The HMD Crest sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display. The phone comes equipped with a Unisoc T760 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage under the hood. It runs on Android 14 out-of-the-box. For cameras, it ships with a dual camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main camera and 2MP rear camera. On the front, it ships with a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. Further, the phone gets a 5000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging support.
Similarly, the HMD Crest Max, comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display and comes powered by a Unisoc T760 processor and runs on Android 14. However, the phone packs more RAM and storage i.e., 8GB+256GB storage variant with this too. On the camera front, it features a 64-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel ultrawide sensor while for selfies and video calls, it has a 50-megapixel selfie shooter. It has a 5000mAh battery with 33-watt fast charging support.
Interestingly, with both smartphones come with an easy repair feature that will let users easily repair their broken display, bent charging port, and dead battery.
