Motorola Edge 50 Neo, which was unveiled in Europe in August, is all set to make its way to India next week. The smartphone's launch date has been announced by the company via a microsite on Flipkart. The phone seems to be identical to the international model in India. The phone's design and a few of its key features have been teased ahead of its release. The color options for the Edge 50 Neo have also been confirmed. Meanwhile, India is already home to both the standard and pro models of the Motorola Edge 50.

On September 16 at 12 p.m. IST, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo will make its Indian debut, shared the company. It will be offered via Flipkart and the e-commerce platform's product microsite also makes reference to a "1-hour flash sale," hinting at possible launch offers
According to Motorola, the Edge 50 Neo will be offered in Pantone-curated colours and with a vegan leather finish. Four color options for the phone are confirmed to be available: Grisaille, Latte, Nautical Blue, and Poinciana.

The Edge 50 Neo from Motorola will have an LTPO 120Hz adaptive display with a maximum brightness level of 3,000 nits, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and SGS eye protection. The phone's triple rear camera system will be powered by a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 700C primary sensor. It will have a 10-megapixel telephoto lens that supports both 30x digital and 3x optical zoom.
It is confirmed that the Motorola Edge 50 Neo has an IP68-rated construction for dust and splash resistance and a MIL-810H military-grade certification. It promises shock and vibration resistance, freeze-free durability, and the ability to withstand unintentional drops, extreme temperatures, and tropical humidity.
It is expected to receive five years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates out of the box, along with the Hello UI based on Android 14. As per the Motorola Edge 50 Neo Flipkart microsite, it will come with generative Moto AI features like AI Style Sync and AI Magic Canvas.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, 32-megapixel selfie camera, and 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired charging support are included in the global version of the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. In some European markets, it costs EUR 499, or approximately Rs. 46,000.
