Motorola Edge 50 has been unveiled in India and is claimed to be the slimmest MIL-810H-rated curved smartphone in the segment. The phone supports an IP68-rated splash resistant. The phone comes equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 accelerated edition chipset and a 50-megapixel Sony-Lytia 700C led dual rear camera. The new handset joins the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra, and Edge 50 Fusion that have already been launched in India.

The Motorola Edge 50 price starts in India at Rs 27,999 for the sole 8GB + 256GB RAM and Configuration . The handset will be available for sale via Flipkart and the official Motorola India website starting from August 8 onwards. Additionally, customers using an Axis Bank or IDFC First Bank credit card or credit card EMI can avail an instant discount of Rs. 2,000, bringing the price down to Rs 25,999.

Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) company Monica has unveiled Manus AI, an AI agent. Monica's parent company, "The Butterfly Effect," is based in China and has introduced a general artificial intelligence agent named Manus that is capable of handling a variety of complex tasks. Manus received the title of "China's second DeepSeek moment" after a video demonstrating the AI agent's capabilities have been circulated on social media. The Manus AI agent's dedicated website has information about it. It "excels at various tasks in work and life," according to the company, and is referred to as a "general AI agent."
