Nothing's CEO Carl Pei knows very well how to grab headlines as the company's upcoming smartphone is all set to make a debut in a week. The Nothing Phone 2a is set to launch in India on March 5 and the UK-based OEM has already revealed the design of the upcoming smartphone interestingly. The model is seen in a single colorway with a redesigned back panel compared to the earlier Phone 2 and Phone 1. It is expected to launch cheaper than Phone 2, with the toned-down features of the flagship.

In a video shared on X (previously known as Twitter) by Nothing, the Nothing Phone 2a can be seen unboxed in a very interesting way. The phone is confirmed to debut in a white color option with a transparent rear panel design. However, this time, the dual rear camera unit of the phone will be placed horizontally within a pill-shaped camera module at the top center. The LED modules or the Glyph can be seen surrounding the camera module of the Nothing Phone 2a.

Other than these, the company has also revealed a few more details including the processor. The Nothing Phone 2a will be powered by a 5G-supported MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC. It could also pack 12GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM.

Additionally, Nothing CEO Carl Pei has also confirmed that the Phone 2a units sold in India will be manufactured in the country only. Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone 2a specifications have also been leaked previously. The handset is leaked to sport a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.

For optics, the Nothing Phone 2a is expected to pack a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor. It is also said to feature a 32MP front-facing shooter to cater to all your selfie and video calling needs. The smartphone could run the company's Nothing OS 2.5 based on the Android 14 operating system. As of now, none of these details have been officially confirmed.

Vivo is all set to expand its V series smartphone lineup with the upcoming Vivo V50. The smartphone is just a few days away from its official launch and a new handset which is claimed to be Vivo V50e has appeared on several certification sites hinting an imminent launch. The handset has recently been spotted on Geekbench AI database (spotted by Xpertpick) giving a sneak peek into the key specifications including processor and other details. Read out all details about the upcoming Vivo V50e here.

Vivo V50e to Launch Soon

The Vivo V50e has already received certification from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), as noted by MySmartPrice. This suggests that it will soon be released in India and internationally. The certification listings indicate we won't have to wait long, even though there isn't a confirmed launch date yet.

Vivo V50e Specifications Leaked

The same chipset that powered the Vivo V40e, the Vivo V50e will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 SoC. The processor, which has four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores with clock speeds of 2.5GHz and 2.0GHz, respectively, is built on a 4nm process. This chipset is a dependable mid-range performer when combined with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU.

The V50e differs from the V40e due to its software upgrade; it will come pre-installed with Android 15, which is an improvement over the previous version. But so far, the internals seem to be mostly unaltered except for the updated software.

Geekbench AI benchmark results offer an initial glimpse of the V50e's processing power. According to reports, the handset has scored 529 in Single-Precision, 1,316 in half precision, and 2,632 in Quantized Score. Although these figures are consistent with what is anticipated from the Dimensity 7300, they do indicate strong AI performance. Additionally, according to the listing, the V50e will have 8GB of RAM, keeping its memory capacity the same as its predecessor.
