OnePlus Open Apex Edition has been launched in India as an enhanced edition of the company's first foldable “Open” smartphone. The handset gets a new Crimson Shadow shade which is said to be inspired from Hasselblad 503CW 60 Years Victor Red Edition camera. With improved design, hardware, and software, it is also said to be the first OnePlus smartphone to introduce “VIP” mode which is backed by an exclusive independent security chip. The new OnePlus Open Apex Edition smartphone is selling at a price of Rs 1,49,999 for the base 16GB RAM and 1TB of on-board storage space. The new edition is comparatively expensive than the standard model which was launched last year. The latter comes in 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration priced at Rs 1,39,999. The new OnePlus Open Apex Edition will be available for sale in India starting from August 10 onwards on the company’s official website, OnePlus Experience Stores, e-commerce platform Amazon and select retail outlets.

Along with the new Crimson Shadow paint job, the new OnePlus Apex Edition has got a vegan leather back cover and orange accents on the Alert Slider.
