Oppo is bringing the Generative AI features to the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G with its upcoming OS update. The handset which was launched in June, is likely to get the software update by the end of August. The Chinese OEM has itself confirmed the details ahead of the Oppo F27 launch. • Users can crop several items or subjects from a single picture using AI Smart Image Matting 2.0. You may make amusing memes by saving these cutouts as stickers and adding them to images.
• AI Studio makes it possible to create AI-generated graphics using visually appealing templates, such as cyberpunk heroes, astronauts, and cowboys.
• AI LinkBoost detects when you enter or depart a lift smartly, ensuring a quick reconnection to the network. This improves call quality and maximises network usage. Network switching is seamless with AI LinkBoost, reducing disruptions and delays for a more enjoyable experience.

Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G sports a 6.70-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2412 pixels (FHD+) at a pixel density of 394 pixels per inch (ppi) and a 120 Hz refresh rate . It packs 8GB of RAM coupled with up to 256GB of inbuilt storage and runs Android 14. Powering the phone is a 5000mAh battery which supports 67W Turbo Charge fast charging.

On the camera front, the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G ships with a dual rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. It houses a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor.

The Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G runs on ColorOS 14.0 based on Android 14. It measures 162.70 x 74.30 x 7.89mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 177.00 grams. The phone comes in Dusk Pink and Midnight Navy colours and features an IP69 rating for dust and water protection.

For connectivity soptions, Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, GPS, Bluetooth v5.30, and USB Type-C.
