After launching Poco F6 in India last week, the smartphone manufacturer is reportedly working on another device that could debut as Poco M6 Plus 5G. The handset is said to be in the works and could be launched soon in India. While the Poco is yet to reveal any details about the new M series handset, the phone has appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website hinting at imminent launch. It is expected to be a rebranded version of Redmi Note 13R.

According to reports, a handset with the model number 24065PC95I has been spotted on the BIS website which is said to be the upcoming Poco M6 Plus 5G while the 2406 in the model number hints at June launch. However, the listing doesn't reveal any key details.

Poco M6 Plus 5G expected price

The upcoming Poco M6 Plus 5G is said to be launched as a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Redmi Note 13R which was launched with a price tag of Yuan 1,399 that roughly converts to Rs 16,000 for the base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In India, It is expected to be priced around sub Rs 20,000 - 25,000 range.

Poco M6 Plus 5G expected features

Though there are no details revealed about the handset, if the reports are to be believed it could pack similar features as the Redmi Note 13R. The Poco M6 Plus 5G could sport a 6.79-inch (1,080x2,460 pixels) display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It might come equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC under the hood, along with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.

For optics, it could ship with the dual rear camera unit comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera alongside a 2-megapixel shooter. For selfies and video calls, it could get an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Additionally, it is expected to feature a 5,030mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to be unveiled on 22nd January. Samsung is set to hold its Galaxy Unpacked event on the day. The lineup will likely include the base Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra variants. Over the past few weeks, several leaked details about the upcoming handsets have surfaced online. The phones are expected to get Qualcomm's latest octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets.

Now, a tipster has suggested the possible India sale date for the smartphones and their colour and storage options.
