Poco gears up to launch its much-anticipated Poco Pad. Known for its budget-friendly yet feature-packed smartphones, Poco is now expanding its portfolio into the tablet market. The Poco Pad is expected to make a significant impact in the market. However, the company hasn't revealed any details. Check out all details here.

Poco is all set to introduce its first ever tablet in India very soon. Poco Pad has already been launched globally in May this year and now it is confirmed to debut in Indian market as well. A promotional banner on an e-commerce site Flipkart has been made live to tease the upcoming launch. Though, Poco has yet to confirm the timeline and other details, the Indian version is expected to be similar to its global model. The latter comes equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, and a 10,000mAh battery. It also packs a Dolby Audio-backed quad speakers, and a 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.5K display with Dolby Vision support.

Poco Pad India launch confirmed
The Poco Pad has been confirmed to launch in India via Flipkart. A promotional banner of the same has been made live on Flipkart. This also means that the tablet will be made available via Flipkart availability. Although the poster does not confirm any other details including moniker, features and price. However, the image bears a resemblance to that of the Poco Pad marketing images. We can expect to more details to be shared in the coming few days.

Notably, Poco India Head, Himanshu Tandon and the company's Brand Marketing Head-AI, Varun Nair previously confirmed the launch of new Poco buds, a tablet, and a power bank in the country in a recent interview with Digit.

Poco Pad features

The Poco Pad global variant with a 12.1-inch 120Hz 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) LCD screen with a TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC that comes coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The tablet runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.

On the camera front, the Poco Pad has 8-megapixel cameras on the back as well as the front. The tablet packs quad speakers backed by Dolby Atmos. It is powered with a 10,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support. Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C port and measures 280 x 181.85 x 7.52mm in size and weighs 571g.
