Realme has launched a new member to its recently debuted number series i.e., Realme 12X. The latest smartphone is priced in the budget segment. However, it is said to offer decent performance with impressive features including support for 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Realme 12x 5G price and offers in India

Realme 12x price in India is priced at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM/128GB storage variant, Rs 13,499 for the 6GB RAM/128GB variant and Rs 14,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB variant. Additionally, Realme is also offering a Rs 1,000 bank discount on the 4GB and 8GB RAM variants using SBI, HDFC and ICICI bank cards, bringing the effective price down to Rs 10,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. Meanwhile, the variant will be eligible for a Rs 1,000 bank offer and a Rs 500 discount. It comes in two colour variants: Twilight Purple and Woodland Green.

The smartphone will go on sale on Realme's website and Flipkart from April 2 at 6 pm.

Realme 12x 5G specifications

Realme 12x 5G sports a 6.72-inch Full HD+ LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 950 nits peak brightness. It also gets Panda Glass protection on the front. The handset is also IP54-rated for splash and dust resistance, making it withstand light rain and splashes. Powering the smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor which is paired with a Mali G57 GPU for all graphics-intensive tasks.

The new Realme 12x 5G runs on Realme UI 5.0 based on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The company has also promised 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches with this device. The Realme 12x 5G packs up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme 12x 5G ships with a dual camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calls. It can capture up to 80 degrees of field of view (FOV).

Furthermore, the Realme 12x 5G houses a 5,000mAh battery, which is claimed to get charged from 0-50% in less than 30 minutes with the proprietary 45W SUPERVOOC charger included in the box.

iQOO Neo 10S Pro+ is rumored to feature a significant processing upgrade, utilising the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a more powerful chip than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in its predecessor. This same chipset is also expected in the standard Neo 10 model. To further enhance gaming, the device will include a proprietary, in-house developed chip. Leaks also suggest a larger, higher-resolution display, with a 6.82-inch OLED screen boasting 2K resolution, a step up from the 1.5K panels in previous models. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner will be integrated into the display.

However, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will not be able to customize the lock screen widget's user interface in its initial release. Therefore, regardless of the device, the developer experience will be the same. On their individual devices, they can, nevertheless, preset and show default widgets.

In the meantime, it is possible to customize the widget triggering mechanism. According to Google, OEMs have the option of using docking or charging status as widget triggers. Additionally, third-party OEMs have the option to use their own posture detection system.
