On Thursday, the Realme 13 5G series—which comprises the Realme 13+ 5G and base Realme 13 5G models—was introduced in India. The series has two 50-megapixel rear camera units and the Realme UI, which is based on Android 14. The 5,000mAh batteries in both phones can be charged quickly by wired 80W. They support 256GB of onboard storage and up to 12GB of RAM. Later today, the country will be able to pre-order them; the first week of September will see their official release.

The 8GB + 128GB Realme 13 5G model costs Rs 17,999 in India, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 19,999. On the other hand, the Realme 13+ 5G costs Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs. 24,999 and Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB versions, respectively.

Pre-orders for the phones will be accepted via Flipkart, the Realme India website, and physical mainline stores starting at 6 p.m. IST on August 29 and running through September 5. Customers can take advantage of a complimentary 6-month screen damage protection offer when they pre-order the Realme 13 5G and Realme 13+ 5G via the official website or physical stores. Pre-orders made through mainline retailers also come with a Realme Wireless 3 Neo neckband, valued at Rs 1,299, for the buyer. Anyone who is interested in pre-ordering a phone can receive a cashback of up to Rs 1,500.

The Realme 13 5G series phones will go on sale starting from September 6. The same channels used for pre-orders will also be used to make the phones available. Here, customers can also take advantage of cashback benefits worth up to Rs. 1,500. There are two color options available for the Realme 13 5G: Dark Purple and Speed Green. The Realme 13+ 5G comes in an extra Victory Gold shade in addition to the same colorways.

A 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) "Eye Comfort" display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a typical brightness level of 580nits is featured on the Realme 13 5G. A 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixel) OLED "Esports" display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, an instantaneous sampling rate of up to 1200 Hz, and a peak brightness level of 2,000 nits is featured on the Realme 13+ 5G. The Rainwater Smart Touch feature, which enables users to use their phones in the rain or with wet hands, is supported by both phones.

A 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage are included with the base Realme 13 5G model. In contrast, the Realme 13+ 5G is equipped with a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy 5G SoC, which can support up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage in addition to up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The RAM in the Plus version can be virtually increased by up to 14GB, whereas the RAM in the vanilla model can only be virtually expanded up to an extra 8GB. Realme UI 5.0, based on Android 14, comes preinstalled on both phones.

For optics, there is a 50-megapixel dual rear camera units headlined by a Samsung S5KJNS primary sensor on the Realme 13 5G series, whereas, the Realme 13+ 5G sports Sony LYT-600 primary sensor. Moreover, optical image stabilization (OIS) is supported by the primary cameras. Both phones have 16-megapixel front camera sensors for selfies and 2-megapixel depth sensors on the back.

The Realme P3 Pro might be launched in India soon as the successor to the Realme P2 Pro 5G, which debuted in the nation in September 2024. The company is said to be preparing to launch the alleged device next month. The model number along with the probable RAM and storage setups of the speculated device have also been disclosed. The company was previously rumored to introduce a Realme P3 Ultra model in India by the end of January.

Realme P3 Pro could debut next month
As per a report from 91Mobiles, the Realme P3 Pro will feature the model number RMX5032. It is anticipated to be introduced in India during the third week of February. Going by this report, we can expect the phone to be released between February 17 and February 26.

The report also suggests that the Realme P3 Pro will be launched in the country featuring "a minimum of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage." Previously a report suggested that a Realme P3 Ultra device with the model number RMX5030 is expected to debut in India by the end of January. It is expected to accommodate as much as 12GB of RAM and offer up to 256GB of internal storage. There has not been any update regarding a standard Realme P3 model.

Last year, the Realme P2 Pro was introduced in India for Rs. 21,999, Rupees. 24,999 aur Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB variants, respectively. It features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and a 5,200mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging. It features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera arrangement, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
