Instead, each earbud's 11mm ring-shaped driver unit is positioned close to the ear canal. According to reports, Sony's Air Fitting Supporter units provide a comfortable fit and aid in keeping the earphones in place. It is stated that the LinkBuds Open have a 22-hour battery life.

According to a press release from the company, the Sony LinkBuds' opening price in India is Rs. 19,990. Beginning on October 24, they will be sold on Amazon, Flipkart, Sony Centers, Sony authorized dealers, and a few other retail locations nationwide. There is a USB Type-C port on the magnetic charging case. For splash resistance, the earphones have an IPX4 rating. They have multi-point connectivity and support Bluetooth 5.3, SBC, AAC, and LC3 audio codecs. The case weighs about 30.6g, and each earbud weighs 5.1g.
