Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launch Plan Revealed Ahead of Next Week’s Launch

Xiaomi is set to unveil its latest camera flagship, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, at MWC 2025. A week before the launch, a new leak from Sudhanshu Ambhore showcased the "Photography Kit Legend Edition", an upgraded camera accessory for this Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Leica flagship. Here’s what we know so far.

Xiaomi has finally confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone and SU7 Ultra electric car, dual ultra flagships, at MWC 2025 in China on February 27th. It will be introduced to the global markets on March 2nd. At a live event last week, Xiaomi smartphone head Lu Weibing revealed the camera specs of the Xiaomi Mi 15 Ultra.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Expected Price

Xiaomi 15 Ultra price in Europe is expected to start at €1,300 (roughly Rs 1,17,750) or $1,400 (roughly Rs 1,21,300). In India, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will likely cost between Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 1,10,000.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Expected Specifications

A recent leak reveals the full camera specifications before next week's launch. Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a 50MP 23mm 1″ sensor for the primary camera with f/1.63 aperture, 50MP 14mm ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, 50MP 70mm telephoto floating lens with f/1.8 aperture, 10cm telemacro and a 200MP 100mm periscope telephoto camera with f/2.6 aperture, offering 200mm / 400mm zoom for up to 28x lossless zoom.

With "Ultra-Pure Optics," the headset is expected to redefine low-light photography and launch as the Android market's new night photography king. All four cameras on the back will be co-developed with Leica.

On the other hand, earlier reports revealed that the phone will have a 2K quad-curved screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, and a huge 6000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
