Next month is anticipated to see the official launch of Google's Pixel 9a. An alleged hands-on video of the Pixel 8a successor has surfaced online, providing us with an early look at what to expect from the reasonably priced Pixel phone this time around, even though the anticipated launch date is still weeks away. The Pixel 9a's plastic back panel is shown in the video. It looks like the phone will have a very tiny camera bump on the rear panel. Additionally, the color options have also been leaked online. Check out all details about the purported Google Pixel 9a here.

Google Pixel 9a hands-on video leaked online
A Thread user named Shane Craig has posted a hands-on video of Google Pixel 9a giving a detailed look at the design of the Pixel 9a thanks to a purported hands-on video. The phone's plastic rear panel, as suggested in the video, might be Google's attempt to save money on the new model. It appears that the flat frame has antenna lines and is composed of aluminum.

Google might introduce the Pixel 9a in an Obsidian color option, but the video only shows it in matte black. It seems to have a small camera bump in the shape of a pill. An LED flash is positioned to the right of the sensors, and the camera module is horizontally oriented slightly to the left. This camera arrangement seems to be changed from what we have seen on Google's earlier Pixel A series phones.

Though the Pixel 9a's display is not visible in the leaked video, but prior leaks have suggested that it will have symmetrical bezels and a hole punch cutout. The phone is expected to go on sale on March 26 and may be available for pre-order as early as March 19. The 128GB storage option may start at $499, or about Rs. 42,000.

Additionally, the Pixel 9a is also tipped to come in Obsidian (black), Porcelain (white), Iris (blue), and Peony (pink).

Pixel 9a Leaked Specifications

According to previous leaks, the Pixel 9a will have a 6.3-inch Actua display with a maximum brightness of 2,700 nits, a Tensor G4 processor, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is reported to have 256GB of built-in storage and 8GB of RAM. It is probably rated IP68 for resistance to water and dust.

In terms of optics, the Pixel 9a might have two cameras: a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 48-megapixel primary camera. It is expected to have a 5,100mAh battery and support both 7.5W wireless and 23W wired charging.
