Check out everything you need to know about here.
According to the report, Apple has accelerated the release of iOS 18.1 in order to guarantee that it is stable and free of bugs, even though it was originally scheduled to release by mid-October. Furthermore, the business must make sure that its servers for private cloud computing are prepared to handle the AI traffic coming from millions of devices.
Users of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 series have been eagerly awaiting iOS 18.1, which brings with it Apple's first batch of AI features for iPhones, including text writing and editing tools, an updated and new Siri, notification summaries, a tool to clean up photos, and memory creation in photos.
These are the initial set of Apple Intelligence features that will likely be available on October 28 for compatible iPhones, iPads, and Macs. In a similar vein, Apple plans to include additional AI features in a future update. These features will include an on-device image generator, visual intelligence, genmoji, and ChatGPT-powered Siri. According to the schedule, at least one new Apple Intelligence feature will be included in every major iOS 18 release, beginning with iOS 18.1. This will culminate in the WWDC 2026, where the company is expected to reveal iOS 19 along with additional Apple Intelligence capabilities.
