Oppo is set to unveil its latest true wireless earbuds, the Enco X3, in China. However, the Enco X3 is likely to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, which was launched earlier this year. Oppo Enco X2, which made its debut in China on February 24, is rumored to get a successor- the Oppo Enco X3 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds soon in China. A reliable tipster on claimed that the TWS earbuds will be released in China later this year. Though rumors suggest that Oppo's upcoming flagship TWS may be a rebranded version of OnePlus's recently launched TWS, the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro, it may not be a completely new product.

Popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) in a recent post on the social media site Weibo shared that the Oppo Enco X3 might make its Chinese debut in October alongside the rumored Find X8 series. The source also made hints about the several key specifications of the upcoming TWS earbuds.

A dual dynamic drivers including a 11mm bass driver and a 6mm tweeter unit can be installed in the Oppo Enco X3. The earbuds could be powered by an ultra-low power main processor (BES2700), and they could support adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 50dB. In addition, the earbuds have a triple microphone arrangement and a dual digital-to-analogue converter (DAC).

Additionally, the tipster hinted that, like its predecessor, the Oppo Enco X3 might be jointly tuned with Danish loudspeaker manufacturer Dynaudio. Features like voice pickup bone sensor (VPU), LHDC 5.0, Bluetooth 5.4, 192kHz/24-bit lossless audio transmission, and gesture controls are possible to add. The TWS earbuds are reportedly rated IP55 for resistance to water and dust intrusion. Moreover, the earbuds are also said to be support a 1Mbps transmission rate.

Rumored to support 10W wired charging, the Enco X3 may pack a 566mAh battery for the case and a 58mAh battery for the earbuds. Additionally, the case is tipped to support wireless charging. The tipster also added that the alleged TWS earbuds might have the same features and design as the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, which went on sale in China on August 20.
