On November 21, the Oppo Find X8 series will be released in international markets, including India. The Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro smartphones will be part of the lineup. They can currently be reserved in advance within the nation. The smartphones will come pre-installed with ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. In a recent development, the price of the phone was leaked online. The Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro base models will be the first phones in India to come with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipsets, the company has confirmed. Oppo Find X8 Pro price in European market leaked

According to a post on X by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Find X8 Pro will cost approximately €1199 and come with 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM. It is anticipated to be available in two color options: white and black. The possibility of alternative configurations has not been confirmed or refuted by the tipster.

Oppo Find X8 series features

The company said on Monday that the Oppo Find X8 series smartphones will be the first to come in India with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. The Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU is a feature of the 3nm octa-core processor. The same processor is found in the Chinese versions of the phones. The Find X8 Pro is expected to have a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 4500 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage will power it.

The Oppo Find X8 series boasts 32-megapixel selfie cameras, support for the HyperTone Image Engine, and rear camera units that have been tuned by Hasselblad. A 50-megapixel Sony LTY-700 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony ultrawide camera are all included in the base model.

A 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope telephoto camera with up to 6x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide shooter are all included in the Oppo Find X8 Pro.

A sizable 5910mAh battery that supports 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging is one of the other noteworthy features.

The ROG Phone 9 Pro is priced at EUR 1,200 (₹1,00,000) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage version. The Pro Edition, with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, costs EUR 1,500 (₹1,33,000).

Available in Phantom Black and Storm White finishes, the series is already on sale in select countries in Europe and the US. Details about the India launch are yet to be announced.

Xiaomi is likely to bring major overhaul to its GetApps app store. Details about the store's closure has surfaced online, however, the company is yet to make an official announcement. According to reports, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer plans to replace the app store with PhonePe's Android-based Indus Appstore. User Aryan Gupta (@SavageAryan007) claims in an X post that Xiaomi has started informing Indian users that PhonePe will be replacing its GetApps store. Devices bought in the nation from Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco will be impacted by the change. Some Xiaomi users in India have reportedly begun to receive notifications about the upcoming change within the GetApps store, according to the post.

A screenshot of the notification was included in the post, indicating that starting in January 2025, Xiaomi users in the nation will not be able to access the GetApps store. The Indus Appstore, which PhonePe unveiled on February 21 of this year, is reportedly going to take the place of the marketplace. It is anticipated that the change will reduce bloatware on Xiaomi phones.

According to the notification screenshot, Indian Xiaomi users don't need to do anything to prepare for the change. According to the notification, the GetApps team will keep offering support and installation services for apps that go by the name "Indus Services App".
