Realme GT 7 Launch: All We Know
The company confirmed in a Weibo post that the Realme GT 7 will launch in China on April 23 at 4pm local time (1:30pm IST). The device is creating significant buzz with the confirmed inclusion of the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which promises top-tier performance for gaming and demanding tasks. Also Read: Best Camera Phones Under 30,000 for Stunning Photos and Videos
Adding to the excitement is the revelation of a colossal 7200mAh battery with 100W fast charging, a standout feature expected to deliver exceptional battery life for extended usage. This combination of raw power and impressive endurance positions the Realme GT 7 as a strong contender in the premium smartphone market. Despite the large battery capacity, the device will maintain a slim profile at 8.25mm thickness and weigh 203 grams.
Other leaks suggest it will sport a BOE-made panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and will integrate an ultrasonic fingerprint reader underneath. Although it may come with a plastic frame, it is also rumored to sport an IP69 rating.
While other details remain limited, expectations are high for a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display and a versatile camera system at a competitive price.
The GT 6 launched in China at a starting price of 2799 yuan ($386). However, it has a sub-flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. The Dimensity 9400+ on GT 7 Pro is a step up in terms of performance and manufacturing process, so a price increase wouldn’t be surprising. However, we still hope the price stays below 3000 yuan.
