The design showcases tweaks with rounded corners. So, is it time to say goodbye to the flat edges? Scroll to know what you can expect.

Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its Galaxy S25 series, expected to debut in January 2025. This time, the lineup will reportedly include four models: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and a new Galaxy S25 Slim variant, which may launch later. Among these, the flagship Galaxy S25 Ultra is creating a buzz with its rumoured design changes, moving towards a more ergonomic and rounded look, as revealed by leaked dummy units.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Leak Units

Recently in a tip, the shared images of dummy units of the Galaxy S25 Ultra on X (formerly Twitter) give a glimpse of Samsung’s new design direction. The photos revealed a sleeker appearance, with rounded edges replacing the sharp, boxy corners of its predecessors. This marks a significant shift in the design philosophy of Samsung's flagship non-foldable smartphones.

The leaked images showcase the device in two colorways—black and white—offering a detailed look at the rear. While the camera layout remains largely unchanged, the lenses appear to feature concentric rings, a design borrowed from the Galaxy Z Fold 6. These subtle changes suggest that Samsung is aiming for a blend of continuity and evolution in the Galaxy S25 Ultra's design.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra: Second Leak

This is the second time dummy units of the Galaxy S25 Ultra have surfaced online, further solidifying speculation about its redesigned aesthetics. Compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the upcoming model appears to have a tighter corner radius and smoother edges, making it more comfortable to hold.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra seems to also be addressing the issue of ergonomic shortcomings, where in the past many users reported that the Galaxy S24 Ultra was painful to hold and grip. Despite these updates, some design elements—such as the placement of power and volume buttons on the right spine and the overall camera layout—remain consistent with the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
