Samsung has unveiled a special edition of its flagship foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in select market. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition
Samsung has launched the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition in select markets. The handset will be be available for sale in a few markets, starting next week, the company said in an official post. Compared to the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6, which made its debut earlier this year, the new foldable smartphone is lighter and thinner. Additionally, it also gets some enhanced features, such as the display and camera system. Its initial availability will be restricted to the home base of the South Korean technology conglomerate, though. Check out all details here.

In South Korea, the starting price for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition is KRW 2,789,600, or about Rs. 1,70,000. According to a newsroom post from the company, it will come in a Black Shadow colorway and a single 16GB+512GB configuration.

Beginning on October 25, the foldable phone will be available for purchase on the company website as well as through other online retailers like T Direct Shop, KT, and Eu+. Discount coupons for other Samsung products, such as the Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, will be given to customers who buy this model.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Editions has slightly larger screens than its predecessor, measuring 8 inches on the inside and 6.5 inches on the outside. For comparison, the standard model has an internal screen that is 7.60 inches and an external screen that is 6.3 inches. The aspect ratios of the internal and external displays are 20:18 and 21:9, respectively.

Additionally, the special edition model is more ergonomic. According to Samsung, it weighs 236g and has a thickness of 10.6mm, making it 1.5mm thinner and 3g lighter than the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6. Samsung has increased the primary wide-angle camera's megapixels to 200. The remaining lenses don't change.

The Moto G05 has a price tag of Rs 6,999 for the sole 4GB/64GB model. It is offered in two Pantone-curated colour options: Forest Green and Plum Red. Both colors have a vegan finish. The first sale on Flipkart is scheduled for January 13 at noon.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 Schedule
In a newsroom update, Samsung disclosed the information about its forthcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2025. It is scheduled for January 22 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET (10:30 pm IST) in San Jose, California. The event will be available for live streaming on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and its official YouTube channel.

The firm states that clients can secure their position in advance by paying Rs. 1,999 to acquire the Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass and take advantage of benefits valued at Rs. 5,000 through an e-Store coupon when buying the soon-to-be-released Galaxy phones. Samsung has officially announced that it will launch its latest Galaxy S series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event. It operates on Google's latest Android XR platform, created to enable features that depend on augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and artificial intelligence (AI). There’s a chance that Samsung might hint at a new Galaxy S25 Slim.
